Saralaine Designs is the combination of two talented women who enjoy the creative art of sewing.   Using their attention to detail and out of the box thinking, one-of-a-kind ideas flourish.

Elaine Palance had a successful design career and studio in California for 35 years.  Relocating in Boerne in 2013, Elaine and Sarah met.  Discovering a myriad of common interests, a partnership with Sarah has added a fresh, younger scope to the business.  Sarah has always been creative and she had a very successful career of 26 years at USAA.  After retiring, she joined Elaine focusing her proven artistic talents with her sewing machine and love of textiles. 

Aprons

You will never look as good or comfortable in our Designer Hostess Aprons! 

Christmas/holiday-just pop on a turtleneck, slacks or skirt, add your apron and voila, you are dressed for your party!!!  Each apron has all kinds of detail and pockets (don’t you always need a pocket for your cell phone?).

Specialty-Mother/Daughter, Grandmother/granddaughter aprons for all occasions.   What better way to commemorate those special memories with a matching set of aprons.  Just name your holiday, occasion and size for the apron.  We can custom make them for you, children, or the man in your life!

Pillows & Cushions

Our pillows are customized designed, featuring fabrics, trims and motifs from all over the world.  We will collaborate based on your personal style and color palette to make one-of-a-kind designers pillows for you.

The Christmas collection will enhance the holiday ambiance in your home or office.  The backing for the pillows incorporates wonderful fabric and trim, neutral enough, which allows you year-round use.   

Invigorating your outdoor furniture, with new cushions and pillows will create a new ambiance to enjoy.    

Totebags and Crossbody Bags

Through Elaine and Sarah’s study of simple tote bags and crossbody bags, they came up with a design of beautiful, fun, yet functional bags that are full of pockets to keep you organized while staying fashionable!  We work with our clients to design their own custom bags loaded with pockets!

We also create our own one-of-a-kind bags for sale.

Adorable Dog Scarves

Sarah and Elaine are both dog loving pet owners and advocates.  They designed specialty scarves for every holiday/event using two complimentary fabrics and added embellishments, such as rickrack and embroidery.  Showcasing the models, our own fabulous dogs, has made our scarves a “must have” accessory for all dogs.  Call us and we can work together to design your dog’s haut couture scarf. 

Boerne Dicken’s on Main Couture Fashion

Saralaine Designs offers exquisite, custom Dicken’s gowns to flatter you, not only at Christmas but any formal gala, winter ball or party. Coordinating hats, capes and muffs are available as well. Contact us for a consultation.
